Rev. Ludwig Bonvin, S.J. (17/02/1850 - 18/02/1939), a Swiss composer (from Siders), who moved to the United States of America. He was a Jesuit Priest and professor of music at Canisius College (Buffalo, New York) from 1887 to 1917. He was well known locally and internationally as a composer.
