Angelo Catelani (30/03/1811 - 05/09/1866), an Italian musician and writer on music, from Guastalla. He received his first instruction from the organist Giuseppe Asiola and M. Fusco. He wrote an opera, a requiem and other church music. His importance however rests on his archaeological works.
