Josef Antonín [Josef] Sehling (07/01/1710 - 19/09/1756), a Bohemian composer, born at Toužim, died at Prague. Church composer, studied in Prague, entered the service of Court Morziu, and afterwards became regens chori at the Baruabite church in Prague. Works : Films prodigus, oratorio ; Masses, Requiems, offertories, etc. Two Latin operas, of which Coustautinus was given at tho Jesuits' College, in 1751, and the second at the coronation of Maria Theresa as Queen of Bohemia.
