Adamo Scola (flourished 1728 - 1748), an Italian born musician, harpsichordist, music master and composer. He was in 1728 in London advertised as "the master from Naples". By 1739 he had set up as a music master in Vine street, near Swallow street, Piccadilly, and there he was selling harpsichord sonata's by Domenica Scarlatti. Scola was Governor of the Decayed Musicians Fund and on 28 Augustus 1739 became one of the original subscribers to the Royal Society of Musicians. His Venetians Ballads in three volumes, were published in London between 1728 - 1748.
