Henning Schmiedt (1965), a German composer born in Schlema/Saxonia. He played, arranged and produced for many international artists like Mikis Theodorakis, Maria Farantaouri, Jocelyn B. Smith, Zülfü Livaneli, Wu Wei, Georgeos Theodorakis, Sema, Lauren Newton, Maria Del Mar Bonet, Milva, Dimitra Galani, Al di Meola, Petros Pandis. He was doing concerts in Europe, Asia, Australia with his music that crosses the boundaries between jazz, world and contemporary music. Recently he was composing chamber music and vocal music (Requiem) as well as works for cinema and theatre and released solo piano albums.
