Vincenzo Tommasini (17/09/1878 - 23/12/1950), an Italian composer and critic, born in Rome. He was a pupil of Bruch in Berlin, but his early music is Debussian. He arranged Scarlatti sonatas for the Dyagilev ballet Le donne di buon umore (1916) which was his only international popular success. Later works, in many genres, showed neo-classical tendencies, the best having an aristocratic distinction
