Raymond Torres-Santos (19/06/1958) was born in Río Piedras (San Juan), Puerto Rico (USA - in 1952 Puerto Rico became a Commonwealth of the United States of America giving islanders "limited" self-rule - much like a state.) He is an accomplished composer and conductor with an international career. His musical background covers a wide range of styles, from classical and jazz to pop and contemporary. His catalog of works includes orchestral, electronic and vocal music for the concert hall, film, television, ballet, theater, and radio.
