Rainer Bartesch (1964) a German composer. Born in Haslach / Bavaria, received three university degrees from the Münchner Hochschule für Musik und Theater, one in French horn, one in high school teaching and one in composing for films and TV. Four years he worked as a professional horn player with the Hessischen and the Niedersächsischen Staatstheater and the Sächsischen Staatskapelle Dresden (under the batton of GMD Giuseppe Sinopoli), before he focussed more on conducting and composing.
