The composer could be Josquin or La Rue, but it is unlikely to be by either.
Proch dolor
The anonymous Proch dolor was written for the funeral of the Habsburg Emperor Maximillian in 1519. It is for 7 voices, with a slow cantus firmis 'Pie Jesu Domine, dona ei requiem. Amen'. One source is the manuscript B–Br 228, where it is the only piece written in black notes.
