J.G. Tschortsch
Johann Georg Tschortsch (ca.1681 - 26/03/1737), an Austrian composer, born in Schwaz. He is an unknown and unjustly neglected German composer. Tschortsch was born in Schwaz, near Innsbruck around 1681 and died there in 1737. He published several volumes of church music and wrote also 14 wonderful Offertories. They are available on cd: Klingende Kostbarkeiten aus Tirol 10 (Tiroler Tage Fuer Kirchenmusik 1999), a double CD (Klangraum CD 11/12).
