Andreas Bibl (08/04/1797 - 30/04/1878), a well-known Viennese musician, composer and organist, pupil of Josef Preindl and so proficient that he became organist of the parish church of St Leopold in 1816 and of St Stephen's Cathedral and St Peter's Church. He was a close friend of Franz Schubert; born and died in Vienna. He was the father of Rudolf Bibl (1832 - 1902).
