Betty R. Wishart (22/09/1947) a female American compser. "Music has always been a part of my life. I started singing in choirs at the age of four and playing the piano at the age of six. I earned piano degrees from Queens University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and pursued further studies in piano and composition in New York City. After completing my education, I taught piano and other music courses at several East Coast colleges and universities, most recently at Campbell University. People often ask about the variety of styles in my music. I express my feelings and experiences in my compositions. Perhaps that's why my music has been praised as "fascinating" and "beguiling".
