Theodor Streicher (07/09/1874 - 28/05/1940), an Austrian composer; born in Vienna, died in Wetzelsdorf. He was born into the family of piano makers. His 30 Wunderhorn songs (1903) brought him wide acclaim as Wolf's successor in German song, but later lieder were less regarded.
