Béla Fischer (04/02/1959), a Slowakian composer. He was born in Bratislava. He studied violin and composition at Bratislava Conservatory and Music Academy. Since 1981, Béla Fischer has been active in Austria as well. From 1989 to 1993, he worked as a ballet répétiteur at Vienna State Opera. At Wiener Volksoper, the artist has been permanently engaged since 1996. During repertory season 2009/10, Béla Fischer realized the music arrangements for the ballet “Carmen“. For the premiere of the Offenbach-Nestroy operetta “Häuptling Abendwind“, he wrote a version for chamber orchestra and undertook the musical direction.
