Tod Machover (24/11/1953), an American composer. He was born in Mount Vernon, New York. His mother is a pianist and musical pedagogue, his father an expert in computer graphics. Studies cello, piano, and sousaphone, concentrating on classical music until high school, when he starts to compose and perform rock music.
