Marco Enrico [Marco] Bossi (25/04/1861 - 20/02/1925), an Italian organist and composer (from Salò, Lake Garda). Studied at the conservatory of Milan under Ponchielli (composition) and Fumagalli (organ). Bossi died at sea, between New York and Le Havre, on his return from a very successful concert tour in the USA.
Bossi wrote an important compilation of works in which organ music plays an important part, like concerts for organ and orchestra. He was one of the most famous organplayers of his days. Together with Giovanni Tebaldini (1864 - 1952) he developed an organ method: Metodo di studio per l'organo moderno (Milan, 1893). Besides he wrote some opera's, orchestral works and important choir music, among which a requiem and the oratorio Giovanna d'Arco.

This requiem, opus 90, for 4 vv male choir, strings, harpe and harmonium.

The Italian composer Marco Enrico Bossi wrote together with Giovanni Tebaldini (1864 - 1952) a Messa funebre in 1893.
