Günther Tautenhahn (22/12/1938 - 18/11/2014), a Lithuanian composer, born in Kaunas. Gunther came to the United States on Nov. 30, 1951, and became a U.S. citizen in 1953. He moved to California in 1967, residing there still. His compositions have been performed and broadcast in Africa, Austria, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Korea, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, U.K., and United States, by Chamber groups and Orchestras, and the world's leading musicians. He died Nov. 18, 2014 in Cambria, CA.
