Maldoror-Requiem (1986), opus 42, is for 8 soli, mixed choir, narrator, and big orchestra. The requiem is written in the period 1984 - 1986. Text is a poem "Les chants de Maldoror" by the French poet Comte de Lautréamont (ps. of Isidore-Lucien Ducasse, 1846 - 1870), who has been considered as an insane man. The lyrics are completed by Martin Grzimek (1950 - ).
