Pie Jesu
Period:21st century
Composed in:2003
Musical form:fragment
Text/libretto:Latin mass
Duration:5'
Pie Jesu for SATB, violin and organ, should work well as a meditation piece in any worship service. The melody is pleasingly simple and enjoyable. The work does lack a bit of variation aside from key changes. The composer may think about this in future works. Other than that criticism, I believe any congregation would enjoy this.
