F. Fiorini
Francesco Fiorini (fl. 1704 - 1759), an Italian (from Como?) composer. He was maestro di cappella in the Como Cathedral (Duomo di Como) from 1730 until his death in 1759.
Invitatorio e Responsorio da Requiem
Period:Baroque
Composed in:1704
Musical form:responsory
In memory of:Francesco Spagnoli Rusca
Full title: “Invitatorio e Responsorio da Requiem del Sig. Rusca a 4 con sue parti e violini. The dedicatee of this Requiem is the Italian composer Francesco Spagnoli Rusca (1634-1704) who was also maestro di cappella at the Como Cathedral (Duomo di Como) from 1660 until his death on 04/04/1704. This Requiem must have been, thus, written in 1704. (Taking all this into consideration I guess that Fiorini' dates could be something like c.1680-1759).
