Prof. Dr. August Eduard [Eduard] Grell (06/11/1800 - 10/08/1886), a German composer, from Berlin. He was the fourth director of the Sing-Akademie of Berlin and a famous organist and composer. He wrote a lot of instrumental and vocal music, e.g. organ music, two symphonies, masses, psalms, motets, hymns, songs, cantata's, oratoria and at least one requiem.
