Jean Maillard (c.1515 or 1538 - aft.1570), a French composer, of whose life nothing certain is known. He may have lived in Paris. He published volumes of masses and motets, and many motets and chansons appeared in anthologies. His mass Je suis desheritée uses its model (a chanson by Cadéac) unchanged as the final "Agnus Dei", with both original and liturgical texts underlaid. Palestrina based a mass on his motet Eripe me.
