August Löhle (29/08/1859 - 28/05/1919), a German composer. Born in Jettkofen, near Saulgau, died in Biberach. After training as a teacher, he studied at the church music school in Regensburg. He became Music director in Biberach. Organ revident and in 1887 singing teacher at the high school, succeeding Adolf Kaim. Choir director. He composed choral music including 20 masses.
