Alois Strebl (30/05/1837 - 02/03/1906), a Czech Music composer and teacher, organist, choir director, choirmaster, editor. Born in Únětice (Czech Republic), died in Kutná Hora (Czech Republic). A graduate of the teaching institute in Amerlingová Budč and the organ school in Prague. Teacher of music and singing at the real school and teachers' institute in Kutná Hora. Organist, director of the choir of the Dean's Church of St. Jakuba and the choirmaster of the Tyl singing association and the Women's singing association in Kutná Hora. In 1879, founder and editor of the magazine Česká hudba. - Author of children's songs, duets, male choirs, cantatas, church music and instrumental compositions.
