Józef Władysław [Józef] Krogulski (04/10/1815 - 09/01/1842), a Polish composer, pianist, conductor and voice teacher. Church composer, pupil of his father and of Joseph Eisner ; appeared in public in Warsaw, in 1825, with great success. He became choir director of the Piarist church, and in 1839 vocal instructor at the convent of the Sisters of Charity. Works : 10 Polish masses, for 2-4 voices, some with organ and instrumental accompaniment ; Requiem ; Psalm cxxxii. ; Passion oratorio for Good Friday ; 2 cantatas ; 3 hymns ; Sonatas, quartets, variations for pianoforte, etc.
