Donat Müller [Mueller] (17/04/1804 - 1879), a German composer of sacred music. He worked in Augsburg as the musical director of various churches. Four of his masses may be found in the musical archives of the cathedral of St. Gallen (Switzerland), which comprise an extensive collection of musical manuscripts and prints of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
German composer, organist, choir director, music editor. He was born in Biburg near Augsburg. At a young age he worked as a choirboy in Augsburg and, building on this, constantly perfected his musical training. In later years he was music director, music choir director and choir director in Augsburg. In addition to ecclesiastical compositions in an easily catchy style, he also tried his hand at composing operas. It is not known here when exactly he died in 1879 in Augsburg, where he worked.
