David Tuckey (13/12/1948), an English composer, born and living in London, England.
"Music is my main hobby and I enjoy playing and singing other peoples stuff as well as my own. My favourite music is 1960's particularly Beatles and 1930's romantic songs particularly Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and Noel Coward. Modern singers I like are Katie Melua, Alex Parks and Julia Fordham. I like all classical music from Mozart to Stockhausen and one modern composer I really like is Jocelyn Pook. I particularly like sacred choral music and like the Requiems of Faure. Duruflé and Verdi. I have attempted my own Requiem mass, Ave Maria and Stabat Mater. I have very eclectic and catholic tastes and I listen to virtually all types of music."
