Nicola Rowley (28/09/1985), a female English composer, born in Croydon (South East London).
Rowley: "Composition is something I started doing when I began my AS level Music course and now I do it when I've got spare time and for fun. Currently taking a break from education I completed my A-levels in 2004 at Old Palace School. It was there I found that I could compose and there that I wrote my "In paradisum". I have also composed several other pieces including string quintets and I am currently working on a "Sanctus" and "Benedictus" to go with the piece shown here. I was head
chorister of the parish church choir in Croydon where I now sing when I have free time. In September I will be going to the London School of Economics to study Social Policy BSc and here I hope to be involved in the many musical activites the university has to offer."
