Mario Capuana (flourished 1645 - 1648), an Italian composer (born in Sicily, died in Noto). He wrote one Messa di defonti which has been published in 1650 (after his death), as his opus 4 and Mottetti concertati a due, tre, quattro e cinque voci in 1649. He was an Italian composer of motets and a requiem. He was maestro di capella at the Cathedral of Noto in the Province of Syracuse from 1628 to his death in 1647. In the years before and immediately after his death were published a small flurry of works in Venice.
