Girolamo Alessandro [Girolamo] Biaggi (02/02/1819 - 21/03/1897), an Italian composer (from Calcio, near Bergamo). Girolamo Biaggi was an Italian writer and composer, for some years he was an editor, for a short period of time he was a conductor. Girolamo Biaggi was a pupil of Milan Conservatory where he played the violin. Girolamo Biaggi was a compositor, writer, for a short period of time he was a conductor, also he was an editor. He wrote articles for ''La Nazione", later for the "Gazzetta d'Italia" under the pen-name "Ippolito d'Albano".
