Andrew Wright (1955), an English conductor, organist, teacher and composer. He graduated from Oxford University. He has been Master of Music and Diocesan Director of Music for the diocese of Brentwood (Essex) since 1982 and is very active as a conductor, teacher, performer and composer. His compositions include motets, carols, liturgical music and organ music.

The requiem was written at the invitation of Christopher Walker for the Choir of St. Paul Apostle, Westwood, Los Angeles. It contains:
