Erwin Ernst Wilhelm [Erwin] Meier (24/03/1937 - 12/09/2007), a German composer, born in Detmold, Lippe. Erwin Meier studied at the Nordwestdeutschen Musikakademie Detmold (now: Hochschule für Musik Detmold). He studied with: Prof. Jan Natermann, Prof. Kurt Thomas, Johannes Driessler and others.
