Gerhart Muench [Münch] (23/03/1907 - 09/12/1988), a German pianist and composer; born in Dresden, died in Tacámbaro, Michoacán, Mexico. He was considered as a child prodigy. He married the American female poet Vera Lawson in 1937. In WO II he was a Nazi-soldier. After the war he fled to California. In 1953 he moved to Mexico, where he died.
