Luigi Gazzotti (30/01/1886 - 13/01/1920), an Italian composer; born in Modena, Italy, died in Vignola, Italy. He composed music for theatre, for a little orchestra, chambermusic, a Messa Solenne and a Requiem.
There is a so-called Luigi Gazzotti musical fund. It donated to the Vignola Council Library the composer's material by the family of the Vignola musician at the end of the 1920s, it comprises the original copies of the musical scores of his compositions, photographic albums, etc…. kept in the piece of furniture which originally stood in the house where he was born.
