Oswald Joos (08/08/1837 - 1919), a German composer and teacher. He was born on August 8th, 1837 in Reichenbach near Schwäbisch Gmünd and was a teacher
in Röhlingen, 1877 in Kisslegg and from 1890 to 1907 senior teacher in Wangen. Oswald Joos died in Wangen in 1919.
Joos composed for the country choirs, taking into account the limited Choir options: Z.T. are the male voices ad libitum, partly are the
Works for 1-part choir and organ. His works are in many archives of the Region preserved. In the meantime there are even new editions of his works.
