Domenico Belli (c.1560 - 05/05/1627), an Italian composer (born in Florence). On 19 September 1619 he and his wife were engaged as musicians at the Medici court. His collection of Arie...per sonarsi con il chitarrone (1616) is unusual for its high proportion of sonnet and ottava settings, echoes and settings of Francesco Petrarch (1304 -1374).
