Edouard Garo (06/07/1935), a Swiss composer, teacher and conductor. He was Professor of music at the Gymnazium of Nyon and Professor at the Pedagogical Seminar of Lausanne. He is also a choral director and composer. Among his publications are choral works, songbooks, and methodological reference books. He was auditor of the International Kodály Society and is one of its charter members. At present Mr. Garo is strongly involved in the development of the Studio Kodály in Geneva and the further promotion of the concept in Switzerland.
