Krijg ik net een e-mail binnen van een bekende vriend van ons en ik bekijk de tekst van zijn requiem, word ik toch emotioneel zeg. Ik neem aan de tekst zet haar tussen de schapen, slaat op onze moeder.

Bravo pour votre site! C'est très exhaustif en ce qui a trait aux requiem. Il y a un compositeur québécois de renommée, Raynald Arseneault qui mériterait une place dans votre site. Il a composé des pièces organistiques et d'autres oeuvres pour les funéraillles. Sans oublier son superbe Alléluia. Votre site constitue une très bonne référence. Michel Mercier

Kees Heeft even geduurd, maar nu heb ik lekker rondgekeken op je site. Hij is prachtig en erg volledig. Wat het zoeken betreft deel ik de opmerking van je zoon (niet alleen op componist). Verder alle lof, hoor! Leuk om te lezen dat onze gezamenlijke oud-muziekleraar een requiem under construction heeft. 'k Vraag me wel af of hij volgens de internationale spelregels mag meetellen. Verder is het erg genieten van de diverse beschrijvingen (zoals de opmerkingen over Ph. Glass' smorgasbord)! Beste Kees, Ik vertelde een vriend van mij over je site en hij zei gelijk: staat het requim van oldfield erop? Mike Oldfield heeft namelijk een nummer geschreven met de titel requiem for Vietnam. Het is een nummer dat op een cd van hem staat. Het nummer duurt geloof ik maar 2.5 minuut. Wil je de precieze gegevens hiervan hebben of telt dit niet mee? Mooie site! Petje af!
