José Melchor Baltasar Gaspar (José) de Nebra Blasco ((06/01/1702 - 11/07/1768) a Spanish composer from Calatayud. His work combines Spanish traditions with the Italian style of his day.

Missa pro defunctis, written for eight voices, strings and flutes, in
1758, for Queen Maria Barbara de Bragança’s (1711 - 1758) exequies. She was very powerful during the reign of her husband Fernando VI (who died in 1759). Daughter of King João V of Portugal and Maria Ana de Áustria, who was regent of Portugal (1642-50). The second dedicatee is King Fernando VI of Spain (23/09/1713
– 10/08/1759), the husband of Queen Maria Barbara de Braganca (1711-1758)
