Nicolas Nabokov (04/04/1903 - 06/04/1978), a Russian composer and author. Nabokov taught at the Peabody Institute of Music (1947-1951) and Wells College in New York (1936-1941). Nabokov wrote many operas, ballets and symphonies, he was known for "Don Quixote" and "Ode." Nabokov was also a chronicler, he wrote "Old Friends And New Music" and "Bagazh." Nabokov was also a cousin of the famous Russian author Vladimir Nabokov. Nabokov also appeared at many music festivals around the world including, Paris, Rome and Tokyo.
