Christoph Dalitz (1967), a German composer, born in Duisburg, Germany. After studying physics, he earned a Ph.D. from the University of Bielefeld in Germany. At present, he is a professor for mathematics and computer science at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, where he is the co-director of its institute for pattern recognition. He is the lead developer of the open source framework “Gamera” for document analysis and recognition.
